Gilford New Hampshire Proposal
Kirsten and Ivan came to New Hampshire for their typical winter vacation, a longstanding tradition in Kirsten's family! This felt just like any other day, Kirsten had no idea that this year would be different though. Ivan had decided on proposing to Kirsten! He shared this news with Kirsten's father and they immediately began brainstorming memorable ways that he could ask her the big question. Initially Ivan wanted to propose while skiing but the weather in New Hampshire had other plans. A recent rain storm and warm spell got rid of all of our natural snow and left very minimal opportunities for skiing. The next best thing? A scenic hike located in Gilford, New Hampshire. Ivan and I were communicating through text message leading up to the event. He and Kirsten did this hike the day before where he was able to mark his location and let me know the exact spot he was planning to ask her the question!
On the day of the proposal Jevin and I hiked up early so that we could figure out all of the logistics. We found a perfect spot and sent Ivan a picture showing him exactly how to position his body! There were a lot of trees at this location so we needed to make sure that we'd have a clear view. As Ivan and Kirsten made their way to the lookout Jevin and I were on standby. We were both watching the couple out of our peripherals and waiting for the anticipated moment. These two were SO cute. They were taking selfies, chatting and kissing each other repeatedly. When Ivan dropped down to one knee Kirsten was immediately shocked and filled with emotion! Jevin and I hopped out of hiding started taking photos. It was such a beautiful moment and the answer was so clearly YES! Yes, yes, yes!
A few celebratory photos later and these two were ready to soak up the moment and be together. Jevin and I took off down the trail and eagerly hiked down to the car so that we could start uploading/looking at the photos! Just 12 short hours later the photos were ready for delivery! Here are some of my absolute favorites!!
