This day was AMAZING! I’m so excited to share this New England micro wedding today - Randi and Toni planned an intimate yet epic day that was so completely them. If you’re considering an elopement or micro wedding, then R + T’s day will give you all the inspiration. Keep reading to see more from their day!
A Gorgeous Fall New England Micro Wedding
This New England micro wedding day took place from start to finish at a gorgeous Airbnb in Gilford, New Hampshire. It was the perfect location and the perfect fall day in the Lakes Region. The sun was shining and the air had that crisp but not-too-cold feeling to it. Randi got ready at the Airbnb with her best friends, her mom, and her sisters. The home had tons of natural light from lots of windows which was perfect for photos. And not to mention the views! Troy got ready at another Airbnb in nearby Alton, NH that also had lots of scenic views. Randi was beyond stunning in her lace bridal gown, which fit the rustic boho yet elegant vibe of the whole evening perfectly.
Once it was time to begin the ceremony we moved outside to the backyard, where they had set up a beautiful arbor with gorgeous fall-toned flowers and seating for their intimate guest count - all overlooking the mountains in the background. {Shout out to Sweet Lavender Floral Design for the truly stunning florals!} New Hampshire’s Lakes Region is truly stunning in all seasons, and it was perfect for this fall wedding.
After the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktail hour right on site, while R + T snuck away for a bit to Alton Bay. There they exchanged vows privately on the docks of the lake while taking in the last bit of golden hour. I loved that they wanted this private moment together so I took this opportunity to take some photos from a distance. I think this was one of my favorite moments of the whole day! Being able to capture their authentic love and joy for being just married, all while being bathed in the glow of the setting sun was really special.
From there we headed back to the Airbnb to join their guests, and R + T kicked off the rest of the reception with a sweet first dance. Everyone sat down together for a lobster dinner which was a blast - when you plan a micro wedding you are able to splurge on things like lobster for everyone! The sun really started to set at dinner, and as guests enjoyed their meal the twinkling lights and glowing candles made this intimate wedding feel even more cozy. And to cap it all off, once the sun went down we went up to the deck on the roof to take in the soft romantic sky and capture some beautiful intimate portraits.

A Little About the Couple
Randi + Troy love to travel together and live a very adventurous life - she is from New England and he is from the West Coast, and so they travel a ton! But New Hampshire remains a favorite location of theirs which is why they decided it had to be the location for their wedding.
I really loved how they did things their own way. When you are planning a wedding, there can sometimes be pressure to do everything you’re “supposed to do,” but the fact is, you can really do whatever you want! Rather than throwing a giant party, R + T felt it was more their vibe to have an intimate gathering with just their closest family and friends in one of their favorite locations.

It really was the perfect intimate wedding day, and I was honored to be a part of it!
