October 3rd, 2020
This fall the White Mountains had an early leaf season, October 3rd seemed to be peak foliage and everyone (I mean E V E R Y O N E) was on the Kancamagus that day! I arrived to the Rocky Gorge about one hour early because I had a feeling that parking would be limited. It was nice, I got to walk around and scope out all of the places I wanted to do portraits that afternoon and enjoy the fresh air.
When Katelyn + Andrew arrived everything just seemed to flow, we found the spot that they had wanted to use for their ceremony and made our way through the crowd to secure the location. We knew that there were TONS of people around but we just kind of blocked them out and did our own thing. During the ceremony I could hear a few people here and there whispering cute things about the couple getting married, but what I did not expect was the eruption of cheers and clapping that happened right when the couple shared their first kiss. LIKE WHAT?! All of these people just stopped what they were doing to share this experience with Katelyn and Andrew and everyone was genuinely happy to have witnessed such a beautiful ceremony. It kind of gave us that "Heck yeah!" feeling and looking through these photos and retelling the story brings me RIGHT BACK to that feel good moment!🥰
