I’m SO excited to share this stunning and snowy White Mountain elopement today. The entire day was a true reflection of the beautiful couple, and the snowy mountain scenery made it so magical! If you are looking for winter elopement inspiration, then definitely keep reading to see more from Alicia and Nate’s perfect day.

A White Mountain Elopement

As they began planning their wedding, Alicia and Nate decided that a big traditional wedding was not for them. Like many couples, they felt it was just not their style. So they decided to plan a romantic White Mountain elopement instead! The White Mountains is one of their absolute favorite places, so an intimate winter elopement ceremony there was perfect for them.

Every couple has different reasons for eloping instead of hosting a traditional wedding. But what stood out to me the most for Alicia and Nate was that eloping allowed them to truly focus on the intimacy of the day. Without being distracted by all of the elements of a large wedding, they were able to focus on each other and the commitment they were making. Eloping is such a meaningful way to start a marriage, and A + N really embraced that!

{If you are on the fence about whether to elope or not, I have a blog post on several more reasons why eloping is so special!}

A + N picked a popular hiking trail in Lincoln, NH for their White Mountain elopement. They spend a lot of time hiking together, so this was a natural choice! We with began the ceremony on a slow part of the trail, surrounded by tall snowy trees. It was such a magical moment and straight out of a fairytale! After the ceremony, A + N spent some time taking in the snowy views of the trail and enjoying that just-married bliss. From there we headed to the ranger station to warm up by the fire and capture some cozy cabin photos. We ended our adventure on top of the Kancamagus with some fun and free-spirited couples portraits. The newlyweds were all smiles the entire day - it was the perfect New Hampshire elopement!
