I have been dying to share Krista + Colin’s Hobbs Tavern wedding, it was so incredible! This couple loves to adventure in the White Mountains, so we got along great right from the start :) Their wedding included some time exploring the outdoors, a gorgeously decorated and amazing dinner, and even some bonus time together a few days later! Keep reading to see more from this perfect winter wedding in the White Mountains.
A Hobbs Tavern Wedding
K + C’s day started with the two of them getting ready at separate Airbnbs in North Conway. Then they shared a first look and exchanged private vows by Echo Lake. It was so beautiful and snowy there, and the afternoon light was stunning! It screamed winter romance.
From there we went to Chocorua Lake for wedding party and bridal portraits, but unfortunately, it was down pouring at the lake. We decided against staying outside in the bad weather due to the winds and hail, so we headed straight to the venue instead. Krista + Colin didn’t let this weather hiccup get them down though - that’s the fun of a winter wedding!
K + C had a ceremony at Hobbs Tavern when we got there, and then we took portrait photos in front of an incredible floral wall. The entire space was decorated beautifully. Krista is a HUGE Taylor Swift fan and was going for an Evermore-inspired aesthetic, and she absolutely nailed it!! The whole room was incredibly cozy and filled with flowers and candles. And their CAKE! It had four tiers and was decorated with both painted-on and real flowers. Huge shoutout to Autumn Nomad for this epic cake and Designed Gardens Flower Studio for the florals.
The wedding was also just before Valentine’s Day, so it naturally was super romantic! After portrait photos, Krista + Colin shared a first dance, and then everyone enjoyed the amazing meal. Guests danced the rest of the night away - it was truly the perfect cozy, winter wedding!
Forest Wedding Adventure Session
One thing about K + C’s wedding that was such a fun bonus, was that they decided to do an adventure bridal session with me a few days following their wedding. Since the weather ended up taking a turn on their wedding day, this session was soo special! They got dressed up in their wedding attire, and we went on a little mountain adventure together. The photos from this session are so beautiful, I’m so excited for K + C to have them!
