A Timeless New Hampshire Mountain Wedding

I’m so excited to share this gorgeous New Hampshire mountain wedding today - it took place at one of my favorite venues - The Owl’s Nest! Laura and Tommy are the sweetest couple, and I was so happy to be a part of their beautiful day!

Everything about Laura and Tommy’s day was so classic and elegant. From what they wore, to how the venue was decorated. The details were all so timeless! I especially loved how they provided me with lots of pretty items to photograph for their flat-lay detail photos. It was so nice to have such a variety to play around with, and they wound up with really beautiful detail photos as a result!

The wedding took place at the Owl’s Nest Resort in Thornton, NH. It was the perfect May day, and we were so lucky with the weather! The sun was shining so they were able to hold their ceremony outside on the deck overlooking the water. Everyone looked amazing, but their 1-year old daughter definitely stole the show!

Their color palette fit the mountain vibes perfectly - the bridesmaids were all in a really pretty shade of blue, and the groomsmen wore deep navy with light blue floral ties. And then the flowers were mostly white with some light blue accents. It all tied in so perfectly and looked so classy!

The entire evening was perfect - from cocktail hour all the way until the last guest left the dance floor and L + T rode off in a golf cart.

Owls Nest Wedding

The Owls Nest Resort is one of my favorite venues. It’s located in my favorite place - New Hampshire’s White Mountains! I adore the White Mountains and LOVE when I get to photograph a wedding there.

The Owl’s Nest is a great venue as well as a great place to stay or play a round of golf. They have several locations for wedding ceremonies and receptions so there is some nice variety. Laura and Tommy’s reception took place inside the Lakehouse which has amazing natural light and lots of wooden beams to give it an elegant mountain vibe. The entire property has panoramic mountain views too - you can’t beat it!
