The Barn on the Pemi is one of my all-time favorite wedding venues, so I’m especially excited to share The Coughlin’s photos from their gorgeous May celebration there! This Barn on the Pemi wedding was filled with so much love, and it was such an honor to capture it all.

These two have been together forever — they’re high school sweethearts! Their bond is so special, and it really showed throughout their day. Both are rugby players, so it’s no surprise that their wedding was full of fun and a great time all around! 


The morning started with everyone getting ready. The girls enjoyed champagne while having their hair and makeup done, while the guys relaxed and got ready. The couple shared a private first look in the greenhouse, which was such a touching and sweet moment before the festivities began.


Their ceremony was heartfelt and full of meaning, and once it wrapped up, the celebration really got started. Their wedding party kicked off the reception with some amazing dance entrances, and from there, everyone enjoyed an amazing meal and danced the night away. The entire evening was an absolute blast!

About Barn on the Pemi Weddings


Located in Plymouth, NH, Barn on the Pemi weddings offer some of the most breathtaking scenery in the state. The venue sits right on the Pemigewasset River, surrounded by views of the White Mountains. It’s pure New Hampshire beauty everywhere you look!


The barn itself is a beautifully restored post-and-beam structure that perfectly captures that classic New England feel. With space for up to 300 guests, it’s ideal for larger weddings while still feeling warm and cozy.


Because it’s a Common Man property, the food is always amazing. Couples can choose from a variety of menu styles, like plated meals, buffets, themed dinners like a clam bake or BBQ, and even a food truck for late-night snacks!


The property also has accommodations on site and nearby, plus antique trolleys available to shuttle guests to and from the venue. After your reception, you can even continue the celebration in their lounge for an after-party with a cash bar! 


The Barn on the Pemi also offers great options for rehearsal dinners, welcome parties, and farewell breakfasts, making it a perfect destination for your entire wedding weekend.
