As a New Hampshire wedding photographer, I’ve had the fortune of experiencing so many beautiful wedding venues across the state. But Whiteface Hollow in Tamworth, NH, is truly something special! This vineyard barn property sits right in the White Mountains, and the views are unbelievable. Depending on where you are on the property, you’ll be treated to views of either the White Mountain range of the Ossipees. It’s amazing! Today I’m sharing everything you need to know about planning your Whiteface Hollow wedding, and I’m sharing the images from Emily and Tobey’s gorgeous day there this past summer.

Whiteface Hollow Weddings
If you’re looking for a barn wedding venue that blends rustic charm with amazing wedding day amenities, Whiteface Hollow is amazing!
Here are all the reasons why I love it:
- Space for everyone – The barn itself is spacious (and beautiful!), with room for up to 200 guests.
- Completely private – You’ll have the entire property to yourself for the day, so there’s no sharing the space with other events.
- Getting-ready convenience – The on-site farmhouse is a charming getting-ready space, and it’s also a great place for you and/or your wedding party to stay overnight.
- The views!! - The mountain views are incredible, no matter where you are on the property. This venue really is a hidden gem in the White Mountains!
- Golden hour magic – As a NH wedding photographer, golden hour portraits are my favorite part of wedding days, and the lighting at Whiteface Hollow as the sun starts to set is amazing. The light spills across the fields, making golden hour portraits absolutely spectacular.
I definitely recommend Whiteface Hollow if you’re looking for a barn-style wedding venue in New Hampshire. The mountain views are such a bonus, too!

A Real Whiteface Hollow Wedding - Emily & Tobey
One of my favorite weddings so far this year took place on a gorgeous summer day in August.
Emily and Tobey have such a sweet love story—they met all the way back in kindergarten, and they’ve been connected through the years, but finally made their commitment to eachother official this year. Before getting married, they each had a child, and then they welcomed a daughter together as well.
I have such a soft spot for weddings like this. Their kids were a huge part of the day, and Emily and Tobey’s focus was on making sure they had just as much fun as the adults. (And they absolutely had a blast!!)
They were married in the field with a beautiful tree as their ceremony backdrop. A big shoutout to Moonset Farm Floral for decorating the entire trunk of the tree with flowers– it was incredible and such a unique ceremony backdrop!
After the ceremony, everyone had a blast dancing and enjoying the party in the barn. And of course, I snuck outside with Emily and Tobey for some golden hour portraits in the field. The wildflowers were in full bloom on their wedding day (August 2nd), so their portraits were extra beautiful with all of the color from the flowers and the sunset lighting!
I was so honored to be a part of Emily and Tobey’s day – it was just perfect. The setting, the weather, their guests, and of course, the love between Emily and Tobey and their kids made for such a special day.
