Classy Fall Wedding in the White Mountains of New Hampshire

On November 12, 2022 I had the honor of photographing Abbie and Keegan's stunning wedding at the Owl's Nest Resort located in Thornton, New Hampshire. This was my first time photographing a wedding at Owl's Nest and it was just as breath taking as I had anticipated. A + K tied the knot on a sunny November day and I am SO excited to share a peek into their day.

Getting Ready

Abbie and Keegan opted to get ready on-site in two different suites. The girls all had champagne and matching pajama sets to get ready in which was tons of fun! Once Abbie was ready we snuck out the backdoor of the suite to find Keegan waiting in the most gorgeous and scenic location for their first look. Before the ceremony we were able to knock out all formal portraits and utilize the natural light. Golden hour was just before their ceremony and was absolutely STUNNING. Owl's Nest absolutely has the best golden hour views for White Mountain wedding venues!!

Indoor Fall Ceremony

Although the original plan for Abbie and Keegan was to have an outdoor ceremony things changed quickly. Storms had rolled through just hours before the ceremony and left behind some INTENSE wind. Luckily in the new Lake House venue at Owl's Nest there is a perfect indoor ceremony location. Instead of risking an uncomfortable ceremony A + K decided to move things inside and keep everyone comfortable. The inside of the modern Lake House is absolutely stunning!

Reception at the Lake House

Abbie + Keegan's wedding reception was also held in the Lake House at Owl's Nest. Friends and family shared wonderful memories of Abbie and Keegan's younger years together and how their relationship evolved over the years. After dances, speeches, dinner and dessert (the most drool worthy donuts in New Hampshire- Brother's Donuts) everyone was ready to dance the night away!
