Kendra + Andrew's Sunny Spring Wedding in the White Mountains
On Saturday I had the honor of photographing Kendra and Andrew's wedding day! They hosted a luxurious and modern wedding at the Owl's Nest Lake House. This has quickly become one of my favorite venues in New Hampshire for the scenic views and modern reception space.
I first met Kendra and Andrew at their engagement session last July! We went on a hike in Concord and they brought their pup Eagle! Their session was so much fun and I loved the connection that they have with Eagle. Fast forward to the wedding day and I was so pleased with the fact that Eagle was there too! He made appearances while Kendra and Andrew were getting ready and then was the best boy when it was time for portraits 🥰
We started this beautiful wedding day getting ready in one of the rental homes on site. I absolutely love this getting ready space! The rooms are bright and always have the best natural light! The girls were having so much fun getting ready and looked amazing in their champagne colored pajamas. Kendra's bridal getting ready look was STUNNING! I am obsessed with the glamorous pearl sleeves 🤩
Once Kendra and Andrew were ready we went out to a beautiful scenic location where they shared their first look and private vows. They shared a few moments together and then took portraits with Eagle before heading over to the lake house for some additional portraits. We flew right through wedding party and family formals before the ceremony and had almost an hour of free time before the ceremony! This allowed the couple time to relax and just enjoy things before all of their guests arrived. Around 4:30 their wedding ceremony began on the wrap around deck at the lake house. The guests were comfortable- it was 78 degrees with a slight breeze. Everything was so picturesque. After cocktail hour ended and dinner was served we rushed outside to get the last bit of golden hour. There were a moderate amount of clouds hovering over us but things changed rapidly and the sky opened up and presented us with the most colorful sky I've EVER seen on a wedding night 😍 Once we were back inside Kendra snuck upstairs to change into her reception dress- something that nobody saw coming 🤩 Kendras reception gown was ICONIC ❤️🔥 classy and glamorous yet ready to party!! Her reception outfit came complete with K S earrings and practical dancing shoes. After a few playful bites of cake everyone was ready to party!
