Jessica + Mike
A few weeks ago I had the honor of photographing Jessica and Mike’s fairytale of a wedding at Wrights Mill Farm in Canterbury Connecticut. It was a beautiful July day filled with so many special moments. When I met Jess and Mike I could tell right away that family and their nearest friends meant the absolute world to them! When I arrived on their wedding day I could literally feel the love their family and friends had for them. Every piece of their day was intentional and I feel so honored to have photographed it for them 🤍
J + M opted to have a first look together where they shared their private vows. This was a great way for the couple to calm any nerves and just really take in some time to soak up their wedding day and ALL the feelings! Just before the ceremony began all of the guests were brought down to the ceremony space by horse drawn carriage; I’m telling you this wedding was a literal fairytale 🥰 during the ceremony some fond memories of years past were shared and finally J+M sealed their marriage with a kiss! One of my favorite parts of a wedding day is right after the ceremony when I get the couple all to myself 😉 couples portraits are just my thing and I LOVE trying to get as many as photos as possible during our short window of time alone! This venue has So many perfect photo opportunities 🤩 Thank you to Bri the wedding coordinator at Wright's Mill Farm for driving J + M around and taking us to all of the best photo places! The covered bridge, the waterfall, the cute little pond and barn 😍😍😍 perfect, perfect, perfect!
Later that evening we pulled everyone outside for what I believe was the most epic sparkler exit I’ve ever photographed 🤩✨ shout out to my second shooter Bri for holding me to keep me safe from the sparklers as I walked/ran backwards and shout out to the wedding guests that made sure I didn’t get burnt (the real MVP’s😅)
I wish I could re-live that wedding day over and over, it was honestly a photographers dream come true!!!
