If you asked me what I was doing on this date back in August, I would have said I have the day free. I had no idea that I would be photographing Ashley and Dan's elopement but after 3 attempts at wedding planning during COVID they decided they were just going to do what they set out to do- get married. Ashley reached out just a week before to find out if I had any availability and I just so happened to have one morning free at sunrise!! The date that I ended up being available was the day they originally planned to get married on- September 26th. We met up in Crawford Notch and completed a small hike together before Ashley and Dan both changed into their wedding attire. Ashley had her wedding gown altered and ready for her big day for nearly TWO years now! They decided on doing a first look on the mountaintop and it was super special. The fog was rolling over the mountains in the most moody yet romantic way- this elopement day will always be one of my absolute favorites to look back on!
