In April I had the honor of photographing Emma and Joe's wedding at The Barn on the Pemi. Their wedding day was full of sunshine, joy and so many tears! With their ceremony in the greenhouse and their reception full of color and personalized/unique details- this wedding was the definition of whimsy!
Vibrant Greenhouse Wedding at the Barn on the Pemi
Emma and Joe had a bright and cheerful wedding in the greenhouse at the Barn on the Pemi last month and I seriously can't get over it! I find myself looking at their sneak peeks each week, wanting to share more and more!
Emma started her day getting ready at The Ranch which is a part of the Common Man Inn + Spa located in Plymouth, NH. This space was designed specifically for brides and grooms getting ready for their wedding at The Barn on the Pemi! Friends and family stayed in nearby and dropped in to say hi before getting ready. Since it was such a beautiful day Emma decided to keep the doors and windows open for some fresh air- I must say after a LONG winter it was so refreshing! It felt like our first true spring day. Emma's dress was a conversation starter itself with a gorgeous train and beautiful floral detail. Once she added the veil our jaws were on the floor- everything was SO perfect.
The first look was outside with the mountains in the background. Soft, simple and sweet. A time where E + J could just focus on each other without any other distractions. They both lit up with happiness and excitement, SO ready to finally be married! Emma and Joe's family and friends grabbed a cold drink and gathered in the greenhouse for their ceremony. Golden hour fell during cocktail hour- we took advantage for some of the best photos!
Something that I loved about Emma and Joe's wedding were the unique details. Emma shared with me that she hoped their details would start fun conversation between guests. The centerpieces were photos of Emma + Joe at each age- table 1 was age 1, table 2 age 2 and so on. Guests LOVED this! It was fun to hear the little conversations sparked from these photos and the memories that flooded in as they re-lived some of the good old days. My personal favorite detail from Emma + Joe's wedding were the placecards Emma's 4th grade class made for everyone. When guests found their table they would then find their name tag. Some had drawings, some were written in cursive and some had jokes on them 😅
After dinner we finally gathered down on the dance floor, ready to dance and party the night away!
This was the first wedding that I brought the Campsnap8 camera and had a lot of fun with it!
